- Answer questions about emotion regulation daily
- Invitation to participate in an interview after the trial
Gift card
Your adolescent will receive rewards for each questionnaire answered, which add up to a universal gift card at the end. The gift card will have a maximum value of NOK 500 or NOK 1,000, depending on which group your young person is allocated to and how many questionnaires to be filled out.
Why is it important to participate in Kort?
Research shows that a large proportion of psychological difficulties are related to how we relate to intense emotions. Being aware of your emotions and making conscious choices even in moments when they are intense is called emotion regulation. Emotion regulation is a skill you can work on improving.
Research suggests that measures that focus on emotion regulation can promote good mental health in young people. The health nurses are in a unique position to help young people, and they want increased competence in how to meet this need.
In 2023-24, we will carry out a pilot project with 40 school health services in Norway. The young people and the health nurses must give feedback on how they experience the help, so that we can fine-tune it to be the best possible.
